Product Description

Christianity has been barred from public schools but Islam's teachings are on the rise in these institutions. Apparently for Islam that is not enough. In fact, for some time there has been an Islamic movement in existence paid for by taxpayer dollars and put into motion by charter schools with connections to an individual named Fethullah Gulen.

Joining Jim to discuss this topic was Shahram Hadian. Shahram was born in Iran into a Muslim family. His father was a lieutenant Colonel in the Army, his mother an elementary school teacher. His parents had a sense of urgency to leave Iran in 1978 and moved to the United States. While in the States, Shahram committed his life to Jesus Christ. This brought immediate disapproval from his family and his culture. Shahram, now a former Muslim, has begun the TIL project. The Truth in Love Project exposes the true goal of Islam and the threat of Shariah in America. He also exposes the lie of Chrislam, the false claim that Christianity and Islam have a common god and a common work. He ran for office of governor in Washington State in 2012. He has served as a police officer and a pastor.

Fethullah Gulen is from Turkey. He's a disciple of Said Nursi who was trying to bring reform to Islam. Gulen has worked diligently to return Turkey back to its Islamic roots and revive the Ottoman Empire. He claims to be a Sufi Muslim and wants reform but as Shahram noted, they can't reform because they can't get away from Mohammed and his teachings.

Gulen is also a major player in the arena of modern charter schools. Across the U.S., 139 Gulen schools exist in 26 states and have been getting government funding estimated to be over a billion dollars. In Texas alone where 33 Gulen schools exist, they received close to 100 million dollars a year.

None of the Gulen schools are connected by name so they are hard to track. For example, the names can sound very benign and include: The Horizon Science Academy (in Ohio) and The Harmony Science Academy (in Texas). Other names in other locations include the Milwaukee Math and Science Academy, the Wisconsin Career Academy or The Magnolia Science Academy.

Shahram explains how this is a 'cover' that helps Islam weave its way into the Interfaith movement, however, it actually moves much deeper than that. Jim proves this point by presenting a quote from Gulen from 1999 where he admits that Muslims '...must move in the arteries of the system without anyone noticing your existence until you reach all the power centers.' Later in the broadcast you get a better indication as to what these arteries and power centers are as Jim says the Gulen movement seeks to reach businessmen, journalists and teachers.
