Mark Crutcher is president of Life Dynamics based in Denton, Texas. He has been working full-time in the pro-life movement since 1986 having created the Life Activist Seminar and eventually training more than 15,000 pro-life activists across the U.S. and Canada. In 1992 he founded Life Dynamics, an anti-abortion, pro-life organization fighting to end legal abortion and return the right to life to unborn babies from the moment of conception. Their motto is, “Pro-life without compromise, without exception, without apology.”
In light of the gruesome details from the Kermit Gosnell trial, Life Dynamics found that this was not an isolated case as some in the pro-abortion and major media camps might like to argue.
Mark had the opportunity to interview some clinic workers who were helping to do abortions on women at 25-30 weeks. He discovered that the overwhelming number of abortions are elective procedures because the woman doesn't want the pregnancy. These babies are routinely born alive and are killed with sharp instruments through the soft area of the baby's head, by twisting their heads off or pushing their fingers through where the umbilical cord goes.
Why are so many babies at abortion clinics being born alive? Mark believes clinics are inducing an increasing number of births and then killing the child because it reduces their chance of being sued for malpractice due to injuries to the woman that might take place while the baby is still in the womb.
If abortion clinic standards are so high as far as patient safety is concerned, then why has the abortion lobby been fighting minimum ambulatory standards in states like Texas where such legislation is being considered? What about the arguments against fetal pain? What about over-the-counter Plan B abortion drug sales at your local drug store? Is this encouraging pedophilia? These and other questions are answered on this important edition of Crosstalk.
