Product Description

Phyllis Schlafly is the Founder and President of Eagle Forum.

Phyllis was on Crosstalk about six weeks ago talking about the U.N.’s Law of the Sea Treaty.  On this edition of Crosstalk, Jim reported that since that time news has come forth that this treaty appears dead, at least temporarily.

However, U.S. sovereignty is under attack again.  The latest treaties taking center stage are known as the U.N. Arms Trade Treaty and the U.N. Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The U.N. Arms Trade Treaty would strike at the heart of our Second Amendment as well as interfere with our ability to build an anti-missile defense system.

The U.N. Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities treaty would set up a committee of judges and U.N. experts to monitor U.S. compliance to global standards allegedly set up to protect the best interests of the disabled, including children.  To communicate the overreaching aspect of this treaty, Jim quoted Michael Farris of the Home School Legal Defense Association who noted that Article (1)(e) of this treaty would also give the U.N. the legal power to determine the standard for the number of handicapped parking spaces at your church.
