Product Description

John Guandolo is a former FBI agent assigned to the Counter-Terrorism Division in Washington, D.C. He's a counter-terrorism expert as he created and implemented the FBI's first counter-terrorism training & education program. He is founder of UnderstandingTheThreat.com, an organization dedicated to providing threat-focused strategic and operational consultation education and training for federal, state and local leadership and agencies. He is co-author of 'Shariah-The Threat to America' and author of 'Raising a Jihadi Generation: Understanding the Muslim Brotherhood Movement in America.'

From the standpoint of national security, John feels we should be optimistic that the American public rejected some of the policies of the Obama administration. However, he knows some people in conservative circles who believe that the election equals victory on some of the key issues, national security being among them. John disagrees and while he believes that we now have an opportunity to make headway, he and others he knows in the realm of national security still see a problem on both sides of the political aisle at the leadership level. So he feels the incoming conservative leadership has demonstrated no more of an understanding of not just the threat from the Islamic movement but also the cumulative threat coming from China, Russia and North Korea.

What about the threat do we need to know? According to John, the jihadist threat is significantly greater domestically than it is from overseas to here. John noted that the bulk of his work lays out a factual understanding of a large movement in the U.S. led by the Muslim Brotherhood and they, along with many other Islamic organizations, seek to establish Islamic law in the world thus forming an Islamic global state.

John went on to note that we can identify the Muslims that are advising our senior leaders using government documents entered into evidence in the largest terrorism trials showing that they are leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and in some cases Al Qaeda. Because they wear suits, speak nicely and they've been in our inner circles of the Clinton, Bush and now the Obama administrations, they are accepted as being good people. The problem is, these are the same people we're dropping missiles on overseas. The ones we have in our midst just aren't carrying rifles. He believes the damage they're doing here is far greater because of the impact they have on our national security and our outlook on how we fight the war on terror.

Perhaps John's thoughts on this program were best summarized when he described how Islam is a religion of peace...peace as Islam defines it. The words that Islamic speakers use don't mean what we think they do. Those words take their definitions from Shariah law. Therefore 'peace' in Islam is not a cessation of hostilities. Peace in Islam is when the entire world is under the rule of Islamic law.
