David Rubin is former mayor of Shiloh Israel as well as the author of seven books including, Confronting Radicals: What America Can Learn from Israel. He's the founder and president of Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund, established after he and his then three-year-old son were wounded in a terror attack. His websites are DavidRubinIsrael.com and IsraelChildren.org. He is in the region of Judea and Samaria.
David began by describing how he reacted upon hearing that Iran had sent missiles toward Israel. Fortunately, 99% of the missiles were picked off by air defenses. One child was wounded badly and there was some property damage.
He commented on President Biden who has warned Israel not to retaliate against Iran in a big way. However, David pointed out the reality that Israel is currently fighting a war on five fronts: Lebanon where the Hezbollah terrorist organization is located, Judea and Samaria (West Bank), Gaza, and the south where Iran has been supporting the Houthis. Iran is the fifth front, a nation that is on the nuclear threshold. In the end, he says there will be a response by Israel, and it will be “pretty soon.”
Is the Biden administration trying to play both ends in the Israel/Iran dilemma? How large is Iran's arsenal and what is the status of their nuclear program? Is the attack by Iran giving Hamas time to regroup? How does David view the anti-Israel protests on college campuses and in leftist cities? These and other questions are answered on this edition of Crosstalk.
