Jim began this edition of Crosstalk by noting the various ways that America has been turning away from the Lord.For example:

--Any mention of God in the public arena is quickly challenged.
--We've had lawsuits brought against the phrase, 'under God' in the Pledge of 
Allegiance and 'In God We Trust', against the National Day of Prayer and against 
prayer at Presidential inaugurations.
--Schools have denied prayer at graduation ceremonies, before sporting events and 
have even banned Christmas carols at Christmas time.
--Marriage is under attack as judges and courts seek to redefine that which God 
has established. 
--Innocent babies are aborted daily in the name of 'choice'.
--Crime and violence are a daily commentary in society.
--The family continues to disintegrate.
--Churches are turning from sound biblical doctrine to a greater focus on 
entertainment.

In response, Jim presented a recorded sermon message by Pastor Chris Juvinall, pastor of the Wausau Bible Church in Wausau, Wisconsin.His message is titled, 'Another Generation', and takes us back to the time of Joshua.Some years after his death, Scripture records in Judges 2:10(b) that, '...there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.'This message is a challenge for parents and grandparents to raise their children and grandchildren so they truly know both God and His works in this evil day.
