This past Saturday, 12 young people were killed when a rocket hit a soccer field in the Golan Heights. The attack came on the heels of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech before the U.S. Congress. Interestingly, the speech was boycotted by U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris who's running for the Democratic nomination for president.
This broadcast looked at the attack, the prime minister's U.S. visit, the protests during his visit, the cease-fire talks and Israel being targeted by protesters at the Olympics.
Why has the White House been so quiet about this latest attack on Israel? What are we to make of the opening ceremony of the Olympics that blasphemed Jesus and the Last Supper? Chris, as well as listeners, had much to say regarding these points, on this edition of Crosstalk.
