There are tactics that have been used in the past such as gaslighting and projection. Could it be that these tactics are being employed on the American people today?
William began by defining projection. It's a term for blaming your opponent for what you're guilty of. In other words, the attacker's narcissistic response mechanism causes them to blame the victim when they're caught doing something wrong.
We see this in the Bible. For example, Potiphar's wife accused Joseph of lusting after her when actually she was lusting after him.
When Elijah meets Ahab, Elijah is accused of being a troubler of Israel.
This also comes to light in the New Testament in the book of Acts. Paul was accused of profaning the Temple and starting an insurrection when in fact, it was the Pharisees who stirred up the insurrection at Jerusalem. By using projection they placed the blame on Paul.
Nero set fire to Rome and blamed the Christians.
Even Jesus experienced this when he was accused of being demon possessed.
