Psalm 92:1 tells us the following: “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High.”
When was the last time you said, “Thank you God for...” and you named something other than the food on your plate? Do you thank God for life? How about the ability to think or work. If you're married, do you thank God for your spouse, your children or your grandchildren? Do you thank him for the residence where you live, a vehicle to drive or for the clothes you have to wear?
Someone once asked that if God removed everything that you have not thanked Him for, what would you have left? So instead of complaining, which many of us are prone to do far too often, we should be praising God for the great blessings of provision He lays out for us every single day.
This edition of Crosstalk seeks to nurture that perspective of thanks as at this time each year we open up the phone lines to allow listeners from around the nation an opportunity to share their thanks to Almighty God for yet another year of tremendous blessing.
Happy Thanksgiving to all from the Crosstalk team!
