This edition of Crosstalk was directed at parents, encouraging them to be aware of those things that are ever present and designed to lure children away from you and biblical values.  As 1 Peter 5:8 says:

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

You'll see precisely how this is playing out as Jim presented examples ranging from pornography to video games, as well as those things that are relying more and more on artificial intelligence.  For example:   

• A New York school gets caught promoting online pornography as art and attempts to conceal the attempt from parents.

• An Oregon father outraged after discovering his 11 year old son was slated to receive a state-issued sexual orientation and gender identity survey that asked children to identify their sexual orientation and gender identity   and whether they are transgender.

• Hundreds of children are set to be vaccinated with puberty blockers in the first UK, National Health Service (NHS)-backed experiment of its kind.

• The latest news on the connection between video games and aggression.

• A report from the Public Interest Research Group called, Trouble in Toyland 2025, says choking hazards and lead used to be the greatest toy-related threats.  While those are still concerns, today it's toys that are powered by artificial intelligence or that contain toxic elements.
