Floyd Brown is the President of the Western Center for Journalism. He is a political innovator, writer and speaker. He is a media commentator. He is the author of “Slick Willie: Why America Cannot Trust Bill Clinton in 1992”. As the founder of “Citizens United”, he is the one who launched the impeachment movement against President Clinton. He also organized many national campaigns including the effort to secure the confirmation of Judge Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court.
Even before he became president, there were warnings that Barack Obama may not be a U.S. citizen. Today, the flames of this subject continue to be fanned. This time it’s by news released last week from Breitbart.com alleging that information from a literary agent of Barack Obama’s in the 1990’s states that the President was “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.”
Jim and Floyd discuss this recent development, along with the latest in the investigation of Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio. He’s just dispatched his lead cold case posse investigator and a deputy detective to Hawaii to gather more information.
Why didn’t President Obama register for Selective Service? Is it because he thought he was an Indonesian citizen at the time and felt he didn’t have to? Is his pronounced allegiance to Christianity believable in light of his Islamic background? Will the laws and legal decisions made since he took office continue to be binding if he’s found to be ineligible or will it create a Constitutional crisis? These and other questions are probed on this investigative edition of Crosstalk.
