Born in Holland on April 15,1892, Corrie ten Boom was a Dutch Christian who, along with her father and other family members, helped many Jews escape the Nazi Holocaust during World War II and was imprisoned for it which she survived. She died in Placentia, CA, April 15, 1983 at the age of 91.
